Vertical done in the right material for your wall
We install board-and-batten in fiber cement, engineered wood, and real wood — each with different cost, maintenance, and look. Fiber cement is the low-maintenance PNW default; engineered wood gives deep texture for less; real wood is for when authenticity is the point and you accept the upkeep. Whole-home or a single accent gable, the details are the same: housewrap, a rainscreen gap where the wall calls for it, and correct flashing at every board joint, window, and penetration. Vertical siding sheds water differently than lap, and the trim and flashing are where it succeeds or leaks.

We hold real samples against your house and lay out batten spacing and where the vertical runs — whole elevations or specific accents — so the proportion looks intentional before anything's ordered.

Tear-off and sheathing inspection
Old siding off, wet or damaged sheathing found, photographed, and repaired at the per-sheet price printed in your bid.

Weather barrier, install, and trim
Housewrap, flashing, correct fastening, and clean trim at every transition — the detailing that makes vertical siding shed water and last. Most homes: one to two weeks.

Does vertical siding leak more than horizontal?
