Is this you?

Paint won't hold anymore

When repainting every 4 years, the substrate is done — you're painting the problem, not fixing it.

Soft spots, warping, or woodpecker holes

Moisture is already behind the siding. What you can see is never the whole story.

1980s–90s LP or T1-11

The inland Northwest is full of it, and it's all reaching failure age at once.

Curb appeal before selling

Siding replacement returns more of its cost at sale than almost any exterior project.

Materials that fit the Northwest

James Hardie fiber cement is the PNW default for a reason: fireproof, rot-proof, woodpecker-proof, and holds ColorPlus finishes for 15+ years. Premium vinyl where budget leads. Real wood and board-and-batten where architecture calls for it. Under all of it: housewrap, rainscreen where spec demands, and flashing at every window and penetration — the invisible 30% you're actually paying for.

How we do it

  1. 1

    Design and material selection

Colors and profiles on large samples against your actual house, not a screen.

  2. 2

    Tear-off and inspection

Sheathing damage found, photographed, and repaired at printed per-sheet pricing.

  3. 3

    Weather barrier and install

Manufacturer-spec fastening, clearances, and flashing — it's what makes the 30-year warranty real. Most homes: 1–2 weeks.

Siding numbers

Full Hardie replacement on most homes we serve runs $28,000–$60,000; premium vinyl typically 30–40% less. Drivers: square footage, stories, trim complexity, and what we find under the old siding. Fixed bids, financing available.

Proof, not promises

Siding: straight answers

Hardie or vinyl — honest answer?

Hardie if you're staying long-term or in a fire-risk zone: it's tougher, looks better longer, and returns more at resale. Quality vinyl if budget is the constraint — modern thick-gauge vinyl is genuinely good. The wrong answer is cheap thin vinyl; that we'll talk you out of.

Can you side over my existing siding?

We don't. Overlay traps moisture problems where nobody can see them and voids most manufacturer warranties. Tear-off, inspect, repair, wrap, then side — the sequence is the product.

How disruptive is a siding project?

Noisy but civilized: workdays only, protected landscaping, magnet-swept grounds daily, and interior life continues normally. Most homes take one to two weeks.

Leaving with questions?

The inspection is free, the photo report is yours either way, and about a third of them end with "your roof is fine." Worst case, you learn something.
