Is this you?

You're on the ladder twice a year

Every trip is risk. After 60, it's the most dangerous thing most homeowners do.

Fir and cedar needles everywhere

Needles laugh at cheap screens — they weave through anything but true micro-mesh.

Ice damming at clogged corners

Spokane-side homes: clogged gutters are stage one of every ice dam.

Overflow you can't keep ahead of

Heavy canopy can clog a clean gutter in one October week.

What actually works under evergreens

Stainless micro-mesh (sub-millimeter weave) on a rigid frame, pitched with the roofline so debris sheds instead of matting. Foam inserts and snap-in screens — the stuff sold door-to-door — fail under needle load, and we'll show you the difference with a handful of fir needles at the estimate. If your gutters themselves are shot, guards go on after they're fixed, not on top of the problem.

How we do it

  1. 1

    Gutter health check

Guards on failing gutters waste your money. We verify pitch, hangers, and downspout flow first.

  2. 2

    Clean and reset

Full clean, re-pitch and re-hang where needed.

  3. 3

    Install and demo

Guards fitted and fastened, then we run water and debris over them so you see it work.

Guard pricing

Quality micro-mesh installed runs $12–$25 per linear foot — most homes land $2,000–$5,000 all-in. Cheaper than the national franchise quoting you $8,000 for the same mesh, more expensive than the foam that won't survive one needle season.

Gutter Guards: straight answers

Do gutter guards really work with fir needles?

True micro-mesh does — needles slide off instead of weaving in. Screens, foam, and reverse-curve 'helmet' products all fail under real evergreen load. Needle country is exactly where product choice matters most.

Do guards void my roof warranty?

Ours install to the gutter, not under your shingles, so no. Guards that slide under the first shingle course can void coverage — one more reason to skip the door-knockers.

Is it really zero maintenance after?

Near-zero: a rinse-off every year or two keeps mesh flowing under heavy canopy. What ends is the climbing, scooping, and gambling with the ladder.
