Signs to watch

Is this you?

Your shingles are drying, not destroyed

Asphalt shingles fail as they lose the oils that keep them flexible — they stiffen, then crack. Caught in the drying phase, before real damage, is exactly the window rejuvenation is for.

The roof is mid-life and structurally sound

A roof with good decking, intact shingles, and years of drying ahead is a candidate. One that's already curling, balding, and leaking is not — that's a roof asking for replacement, not treatment.

You're not ready to replace yet

If your roof has life left but is aging faster than you'd like, rejuvenation can be a way to protect the years it still has — as long as it genuinely qualifies.

You want the honest option, not the biggest sale

Rejuvenation is a smaller job than a reroof, and we're glad to do it when it fits. We're equally willing to tell you it won't help — because on the wrong roof, it won't.

Your options

What it is, and just as importantly what it isn't

Our rejuvenation treatment works by restoring flexibility to asphalt shingles that have dried out with age, helping slow the cracking and granule loss that dried shingles are prone to. It is not paint, not a coating, and not a cure for a worn-out roof. It only makes sense on roofs that qualify — sound structure, shingles that are stiffening but not yet broken down. It will not resurrect a roof that's curling, leaking, or losing shingles, and we won't sell it to you as if it could. Whether your roof is a candidate is a judgment call we make honestly, on your roof, in person.

The method

How we do it

  1. 01

    Candidacy assessment

We inspect the shingles and structure and tell you plainly whether your roof qualifies — many do, and some are simply too far gone to benefit.

  2. 02

    Prep and clean

If it qualifies, we clear debris and moss and prepare the surface so the treatment reaches shingles that are ready to take it.

  3. 03

    Apply the treatment

The rejuvenation treatment is applied to the qualifying roof, restoring flexibility to shingles that had begun to dry and stiffen.

Straight numbers

How the math works against replacement

Rejuvenation is a fraction of the cost of a replacement — that's the appeal, and on a qualifying roof it can be money well spent to protect the life the roof still has. But it's only a bargain if your roof is actually a candidate; spent on a roof that's already failing, it's money wasted delaying the replacement you still need. We won't quote fabricated numbers of years it 'adds' — the honest answer is that it helps qualifying roofs and does nothing for roofs that are past the point of help. Our assessment tells you which yours is before you spend anything.

Where we do this work

Roof Rejuvenation: straight answers

How much life does rejuvenation add?

We won't put a number on it, because an honest one doesn't exist — it depends entirely on your shingles, your exposure, and how much drying they'd otherwise face. What we'll say plainly is that on a qualifying roof it helps preserve the life the roof still has, and on a roof that's already worn out it does nothing at all. Anyone quoting you a guaranteed number of added years is guessing or selling.

Is this just a coating or paint?

No. It's a treatment that works into the shingle to restore flexibility to the asphalt, not a film painted over the top. That distinction matters — coatings and 'roof paint' can trap moisture and hide problems, while rejuvenation is about the condition of the shingle itself. It's also not right for every roof, which is the more important point.

How do I know if my roof qualifies?

We look at it. Good candidates have sound decking and shingles that are stiffening and losing some granules but aren't yet curling, cracked, or leaking. Roofs that are already failing don't qualify — treatment can't reverse structural wear. It's a judgment we make in person, and we'll tell you honestly which side of the line your roof is on.

Should I rejuvenate or just replace?

If your roof is mid-life and drying, rejuvenation may protect its remaining years for a fraction of a reroof — a genuine value. If it's near the end, replacement is the real answer and rejuvenation only postpones it. We'll show you the condition of your shingles in photos and lay out both paths honestly, then let you decide.
